I’m a longtime eBay seller and I’ve had pretty good luck avoiding scammers. Probably because I don’t sell anything very valuable on there. eBay almost always sides with the buyer (there are scam artists among the sellers, too).

The worst experience I had was with this crazy person who bought three $5.00 t-shirts and went super high maintenance on me. After tons of back and forth over how he wanted them shipped and a bunch of head games, I finally got him out of my hair, blocked and reported him. It was weird. I couldn’t figure out why he was putting me through all this over $15 worth of t-shirts that were new with tags and worth more than I was selling them for. I think he was some kind of sadist.
