Depp vs. Heard is important because some people do lie about being abused. Despite popular sentiment, we should not automatically believe everyone who accuses another person of abuse. We should take every accusation seriously, examine the evidence, and punish those who are found guilty.

We’ve reached a point where people are losing their jobs on the basis of a single accusation. That’s not right.
