If “Hogan is supposed to be inspiring”, I missed that bit. This is the only thing of yours l’ve read that wasn’t arrogant, mean-spirited, or bizarre. It’s good to see someone taking an objective look at what they’ve written and admitting that some of it wasn’t useful or good. The weird thing about content though, is that people can be inspired by absolute evil or absolute crap. “I think that I shall never see, a poem lovely as a tree.” That said, this piece has inspired me to review my writing and decide where I want it to take me, so thanks for that.
