I’d like to see them replaced with a simple “like”, Bebe. Medium used to pay for claps but no longer does, so they aren’t relevant. Plus, they’re not universally understood. Some people use or interpret a single clap as an insult. Others clap 50 for everything. Still others like to dole out a range or ignore them entirely. What’s the point?
