I want to read it. If I had, I’m sure I would have commented. And let me say this about that. I don’t know if what Cuomo did was just inappropriate or criminal. I will let others sift the evidence and figure it out. I don’t applaud Cuomo’s behavior toward his staffers and others, but I do admire his ability to take the heat and not back down. Republicans up until now have stood firm in the light of far more serious allegations and kept their jobs. Democrats usually fold up like a cheap suit. Like Al Franken, whose departure from the Senate was a tragedy, they make nice and “do the right thing.” Cuomo isn’t nice. He’s a brawler. Growing up in NY, I’m familiar with the type. The first time I met my friend’s boyfriend, he kissed me goodbye. On the lips! As my Italian American friend in NY Ann says, “He’s a typical Italian male.” It doesn’t excuse what he did, but it explains why he doesn’t see anything wrong with what he did. We need to give people a chance to be educated. Maybe he’s too old a dog, but everyone deserves the due process denied Al Franken.
