I walked around my neighborhood the other day looking at who had which yard signs. I wrote down the addresses of people with Biden signs. I’m going to send each a thank you note and maybe, that way, I can make new friends to replace the ones I can no longer stomach. Shared values is a much better basis for friendship than “we went to school together,” “our kids are (were) in the same class,” or “we shared a cubical at a soul-sucking job in the 1980s.”
