I think some people go through phases where they’re itching for a fight. I’d rather they do it virtually than physically. If making an insulting comment to me keeps someone from kicking their dog, I’m okay with that. There are lots of reasons people lash out in comments and none of them have to do with you personally, unless they know you personally.
