I think it’s a fantastic idea to update the story using a black cast, Allison. It wouldn’t make sense to reboot it otherwise. I can’t imagine that many white people are really bothered by this. What I think you’re seeing are those who attack anything they perceive as “woke” just to get attention. It’s a sad fact that many people today are itching for a fight about anything.
