I read one of those you mentioned and it pissed me off, too. Satire should be obvious. Traditionally, this was done by quoting people with silly names like, Peter Doubt and Able Boddied, or by employing obvious exaggeration: “I paid four trillion dollars for a shrimp fork used at the Last Supper.”
