I quit Vocal, too. I entered at least half a dozen challenges. Some had 10 or 20k entries. No way are they reading everything. Some of the winners are not very good, either. I only really made money on rewards for posting 5, 10, and 50 stories. They also gave everyone who entered one of the challenges a small bonus. My 50 stories have earned about $6 since November.
