I once read somewhere that the best gift parents can give their children is to love each other. Both my husband and I were fortunate enough to have parents who did. We learned what a loving relationship looked like, and had a blueprint to replicate it. Even though both of us have faults and our marriage has hit road bumps our parents' marriages didn’t, I believe our early introduction to what marriage can be has helped us weather the storms. This month we’ll be celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary.
