I loved this, Don. My parents had a florist and nursery. There’s nothing negative about the term late bloomer. It simply refers to the season in which they reach their peak. It’s a hope-filled idea, isn’t it? I’m in full flower at 65 and couldn’t be happier. How sad to peak at 19.
