I love you, Toya, so I hope you’ll forgive me, but I’m incapable of letting a misattributed quote go. The one at the top of your story is by Robert Burns, not Shakespeare. It’s from his poem “To a Mouse” and goes like this: “The best laid schemes o' mice an' men / Gang aft a-gley.” The last bit is in Scot’s Gaelic and means “oft times go awry.” That completes my TED talk for today. ;)
