I have friends my age (60+) who aren’t opposed to vaccination, but neglect to get a flu vaccine. People don’t like to get shots even though they know thousands of mostly older Americans die from the flu or from complications. So it isn’t just those opposed to the whole idea who are reluctant. There are also those who don’t have health insurance. Often, they would rather take their chances than spend the money. Will this vaccine be free? I doubt there are any true humanitarians around today like Dr. Jonas Salk who refused to profit from the polio vaccine. The drug companies stand to make a fortune on this.
