I have a theory about those people with the big old flags on their big old trucks. They know they’re fighting a losing battle. They’re trying to compensate for their small minds with big signs. I live in eastern Pennsylvania. During the midterms, I saw very few campaign signs for Democrats but I saw quite a few out-sized, enormous ones for Republicans. You can yell as loud as you want but the silent majority votes.
