I hated Secret Santa when I used to work in a corporate setting. I would invariably get something really nice for someone (usually going over the price limit) who, in turn would get me something tacky. One year, I gave a lady a beautiful sterling silver bell and I got a pot holder with a snowman on it in return. Not a Martha Stewart potholder, mind you, more like something you get at Dollar General. Thankfully, that phase of my life is over. Good riddance!
