I had a friend who dumped her absurdly handsome boyfriend because she couldn’t take the way other women hit on him when they were together. One even slipped him her phone number right under my friend’s nose.

I knew another couple where the guy was gorgeous and his girlfriend was slightly below average looking. They were part of a church group I once belonged to.
