I grew up in New York and lived over 30 years in California. The quality of life in both places was outstanding. Now retired, I live in Pennsylvania on the NJ border. It’s a great place to live and the healthcare in the Lehigh Valley is terrific. Lots of scenic beauty and historical sites and easy trips into NYC and Philly or the Catskills and Poconos. Taxes are much lower than NY and CA, too.
