I feel the same way, Jean. I'm in the process of applying for dual citizenship with Ireland. It's my exit strategy should things get unbearable. They will take me because my grandmother was born there, which made my Mom an Irish citizen even though she never claimed it. There are some attorneys who claim they've even been able to get people citizenship on the basis of a great-grandparent, but I wouldn''t count on it.
