I don't like the guy. He speaks in absolutes. Americans are heartless. America is doomed. Blah, blah, blah. If he's fitted himself with a pair of golden handcuffs, that's his problem. What he's doing is lazy. Making people cry is easy. It's harder to get a laugh. I don't need anyone else telling me why I should despair. I need hope, even if it's only to keep going until it all goes to hell.
