I don't exactly remember when I learned to read. We had tons of books at home and I had four older sisters who helped me. I was reading the Bobbsey Twins by 2nd grade and The Taming of the Shrew by 5th. That was the year they had me take English class with the 7th graders. I would never claim to have been reading at 3, though. That's just nuts.
