I don’t clap for what I haven’t read on Medium. (I only did that 15 times on Vocal+ because I really needed the bonus.) I often only clap after I read. When I clap, it’s always 50. I only highlight something that rings a bell with me. I comment when I have something meaningful to say other than, “Good job!” I got one of those claps without a read the other day. I didn’t bother finding out who it was. If people think that will get them attention, they’re wrong.
