I can certainly see why people bail on the job, Jean. My son is a high school math teacher. He doesn't have many discipline problems because there aren't a lot of rebels in AP Calculus. He's rethinking his career choice though because anything lower than six figures in the San Francisco Bay Area condemns you to poverty. It's a shame because he loves teaching and is good at it. He cares so much about the kids. It's a shame.
