I bet that gas station was in LA, huh? Tough town. I live on the border of PA and NJ. It's illegal to pump your own gas in NJ. I have a friend who always tips for this service which makes no sense to me since they're not doing anything extra. They have no choice but to pump the gas. I did tip a go-getter kid like you were once for doing the windshield etc. I was especially impressed because it was a brutally hot day.
