I agree with some of these, John, but you can’t move Thanksgiving. It’s a harvest festival. You also can’t get rid of St. Patrick’s Day. It’s not a national holiday in the US. It will exist whether Americans celebrate it or not. I propose combining Veterans, Memorial, and Independence Day and call it Jingoist Day. I’ve also been campaigning for some time to change Columbus Day to Da Vinci Day. Italians have a lot more to be proud of in Leonardo than they do Chris.
