I agree, Thomas. Medium used to pay writers based on claps before it became reading time. It also isn’t particularly useful since some always clap on everything, others on nothing, and still others have a complicated formula. One clap for someone might mean they loved it while others use it as an insult. At the very least, they should make it a simple like.
