I agree, Lisa. It’s unpredictable. In my experience, and maybe it’s just the sort of stuff I write, people are usually incredibly nice. I know the folks who write for Newsbreak can’t even bear to read the comments because they’re so horrible. I was reading something the other day on Medium that I completely disagreed with. There were something like 54 comments and everyone, like me, thought the guy was totally off base. Nevertheless, most people were polite about it, a few not. The irony is that the guy made a lot of money with a horrible opinion that nobody agreed with. I don’t know if he wrote it simply to generate controversy, but it certainly makes you think. In any case, trolls are all over. Try not to let them get you down. After all, their money is as green as everyone else’s! ☺
