Great story, Jason. Most people eventually get to this stage as they grow older, but why wait? I just took a quiz on toxic personality traits. I got flagged for arrogance for answering “Do you think you’re smarter than most people?” It didn’t bother me. What do they know? It’s not arrogance, anyway.

Arrogance would be if I thought I was smarter than everyone or if I always saw myself as the smartest person in the room. I don’t. Besides being smarter than most people is a very low bar these days so it’s not worth bragging about.
