Great advice, Jonah. I lived in Silicon Valley for many years and had lots of friends who worked at the big name tech companies. The majority found themselves in what we called “the golden handcuffs,” meaning the money was great, so they built up a lifestyle commensurate with that, and then, when they realized they were unhappy in their jobs, they couldn’t afford to quit. You’re lucky things worked out the way they did. You probably have a lot more free time, too.
