Good for you, Evelyn! I would have been furious if someone put me in that position. I’m not sure it can work when two people approach sex so differently. I’ve heard of straight people happily married to gay ones but I haven’t met any. What’s really weird is that your story reminds me of when you visit a friend’s church and everyone there tries to convert you. They’re not happy unless you love what they love. I think it’s a sign of insecurity. The people at that party knew that society in general looks down on what they were doing. When they called you a prude, it was more an attempt to make themselves feel less like perverts. (I don’t judge their choices as long as they don’t judge mine.) I hope you dumped Max’s ass after that. It was a sleazy move on his part and entirely disrespectful.
