Everything is always about the money. It’s California’s strict standards which make me question what’s going on there. I think she genuinely likes to perform, so I’m not sure she’s being forced. All performers are compelled to fulfill contractual obligations. I read somewhere that she’s on lithium. It’s used to treat depression, bi-polar disorder, and schizophrenia as I’m sure you know. To characterize this as “being drugged" indicates that it’s not something she needs to function but is being forced on her for nefarious reasons. I know from personal experience with family members that medications taken for mental health issues can make a huge difference in quality of life. Of course no one on the outside has all the facts. The courts must know something we don’t. In any case, if her conservatorship is deemed to be abusive or unnecessary, it will likely be altered. Thanks for sharing your point of view.
