Dreaming of Spring: Three Haiku Poems
Love, renewal, loss, and longing
Feb 22, 2022
Mending Hearts
Bleeding hearts in Spring
Die back as summer beckons
They vanish like smoke
Two Lips
First, the crocus blooms
The daffodils soon follow
In their wake: tulips
Spring Spoils
Frangrance is fleeting
When all the daffodils die
Yellowed stalks remain
