Cancer is the gift that keeps on giving, unfortunately. My mother had four different kinds, but she lived to 85. My grandmother had three different kinds and died just shy of 94. I've had one kind (so far). I can only hope that I'll have a lot of time, too. On my dad's side, the only cancer death was my uncle from lung cancer and he smoked like a fiend. Everybody else, my dad, both his parents, and at least 8 of his siblings died of Alzheimer's. I don't think I'll be taking the 23 and Me thing anytime soon, either, Sherry!
