At 22, I wouldn't have fooled around with another woman's husband. I wouldn't have at 16 or 18 either, but I knew girls who did. I think it's dangerous to infantilize young women as victims in these situations. It happens, of course, but it's not always the case. She was old enough to know better. Clinton was wrong to do what he did for a number of reasons, but she did wrong too. Was she put through hell by the media? Absolutely. It was unfair but should not have been unsurprising to a bright woman who had a front row seat to how politics works. This wasn't a case of being forced on threat of losing her job. She was enjoying herself.
