What is the most exclusive wedding venue in America? That, of course, would have to be the official residence of the President of the United States, the White House.

According to the White House Historical Association,18 documented weddings have taken place at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.

Here are some fun facts about White House weddings:

1 — Grover Cleveland is the only U.S. president to be married inside the White House. On June 2, 1886, Cleveland married Frances Folsom in the Blue Room. At age 21, his bride was the youngest First Lady in U.S. history. Cleveland was 49. He first met Frances, the daughter of a close friend, when she was a baby, and he gave her parents a baby carriage as a gift.

2 — The first White House bride was Lucy Payne Washington (the sister of First Lady Dolley Madison). On March 29, 1812, Lucy married Supreme Court Associate Justice Thomas Todd. It was the second marriage for both. Lucy’s first husband was President George Washington’s nephew, George Steptoe Washington.
